Introduction of project
Software for design and verification of axially loaded deep foundation utilizing the load-transfer method. It is possible to perform an analysis of large-diameter bored piles and micropiles for which an equivalent young modulus is caclulated based on selected reinforcement. Two types of nonlinear load transfer functions (hyperbolic and cubic-root) are involved. The effectve stress approach (beta method) is applied in order to determine the ultimate skin friction profile along a pile. According to the chosen level of aanalysis, it is possible to to consider the constant/depth-dependent beta values and an additional radial stress increase due to the constrained dilatancy effect. The resulst of analysis are: the load-displacement curve and the axial stress, axial displacements and mobilized shaft friction profiles along an anlyzed foundation. It is poddible to export the analysis output into the pdf file.

1.Research report
The summary research report is the output of the project, in which the issue is analyzed and solved from a theoretical point of view:
-
- transfer function methods
- transfer function method algorithm
- the possibility of setting the limit casing friction and limit stress at the pile toe
- optimization algorithm used to determine the input parameters of transfer functions
- back analysis of pilots to obtain input parameters of transfer functions

2.PMpLTO software – Návrh a posouzení pilot metodou přenosových funkcí
Software for the design and assessment of piles and micropiles using the transfer function method is a project output that follows on from the previous project output, the Summary Research Report. The theoretical findings from the research report were used for the creation of software that enables the design and assessment of deep foundation elements using the transfer function method. The software offers a graphical user interface for entering the input parameters needed for the calculation, entering the geological profile and displaying the calculation results. The calculation results can also be exported to a PDF document, which can also serve as a report on the static design of the pile. A more detailed description of the program’s functionality is provided in the instructions included with the software.
