In this course, students will gain knowledge of the basic assessment of the rock environment (built by rocks and semi-rocks) as an environment interacting with the building structure. Students will be introduced to the physical, mechanical and technological properties of rocks and rock environments and their verification by laboratory and field tests. The course also covers basic rock slope and wall stability assessment and rock anchors design.
